Welcome Our Troops Home
Regardless of personal views on politics, our President, Our Country and the War over in Iraq we must set aside our differences and thank our Men and Women who are fighting for us and for world peace.
Usually one doesn't take interest in things that don't directly effect them. Recently this war became more 'Real' than ever for me. I have personal relationships with more than a few Men and women across seas. I worry for them every day, look up to them for being my personal heros and desperately wish they would return home.
I know this is unrealistic because they are bound to their contract. So, in the mean time I use the thought of their bravery to propel me through my day and make it more successful than the previous. When I am feeling tired, when I am feeling hungry, when I am feeling like I have too much on my plate, when something doesn't 'go my way' I stop. I think to myself... Do I know how easy I REALLY have it? I can eat when and what I want, I can nap and go to bed safely... I can listen to music, stare at the clouds, I can walk down the street in Freedom and comfort knowing they are protecting Me, protecting my country!
Then it all seems irrelevant... and I move on. This is true when I am IN and OUT of the gym. Thank you to all who serve! My heart and my thanks are with you~
Train Hard, Live you're Dream!
... and most importantly ROCK ON!

OOOH RAH! Allison, I couldn't have said it better myself. Whenever I see someone in uniform, with a Veteran's hat or shirt on, or if it comes to my knowledge that they were "in service" for our country I always let theme know how much I appreciate the sacrifices they have made to serve. Thanks Soldiers!
Go troops...Its nice to see you have someone special over there..Sure do hope he comes home safe
